BOSTON (AP) Yankees top prospect Ja son Domnguez was placed on the minor league injured list. New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said at Fenway Park Sunday that Domnguez felt something in his left side on a checked swing in a game playing for Mike Trout Jersey Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre a day earlier. He felt it in the side on the checked swing, so hes getting tested (Sunday), Boone said, pointing at his mid-left side while sitting in the Yankees dugout before they faced the Red Sox in the series finale. It was enough to put him on the IL right away at least, Boone said. Well hopefully have an idea of exactly what weve got by tonight or tomorrow. The 21-year-old Domnguez returned from rehab following right ulnar collateral ligament surgery last September. He completed a rehab a signment and was optioned to Triple-A on June 12 while he waited for a big-league opportunity.
